July 7, 2019  Rakhine war is getting wild and shifting to harassments.  Internet blackout is still persisting in northern parts of Rakhine state where Myanmar army and Arakan Army have been fighting against each other since January.  Government spokesperson Zaw Htay said during the recent press conference in Naypyitaw there is no timeframe to left the internet ban.  While the region is blackout, Myanmar army arrested Arakan Army Spokesperson Khine Thu Kha’s bother-in-law and two other villagers at Htat Taung village in Ann township yesterday.  The spokesperson’s brother-in-law U Maung Pru Than and two other villagers of U San Aung Kyi and U Raybo Thu are detained at Ann Police Station.  Ann is Myanmar army control and command center and resident of the reginal commander.  “They were tak...

Myanmar Army Arrests more Villagers in Rakhine State in Recent Days May 30, 2019. Sittway Myanmar soldiers in Rakhine village  Myanmar Army arrested several villagers from Buthidaung and Kyaultaw townships recently. Myanmar Army’s combined force of LID 55 and 99 of 50 soldiers came to Minthar Daung village, Kyauktaw township, Rakhine State, Myanmar, at 4 pm on May 29. Then they arrested village Chairman Aung Thein Kyaw, 51, and Kyan Thein Aung, 50, in the village. The soldiers told the families the chairman and the villager were taken to meet the army officer for questioning. Both men have not come back homes until May 30. Their families are worry they may be tortured and killed. No further news and contacs has yet got from the arrested villagers.
